Presiding Elder Edmund E. Lowe, Sr.
Reverend Lowe pastored Perry Chapel AME in Charleston, Missouri and was the pastor and founder of Christ Our Redeemer AME Church that has grown from twelve members to over three hundred, with over twenty-one active ministries. And he was the pastor at The Historic St. James AME in St. Louis.
In October 2013, at the 159th Session of the Missouri Conference, The Right Rev. T. Larry Kirkland, Presiding Prelate of the 5th Episcopal District, appointed him the Presiding Elder of the St. Louis-Cape Girardeau District of the Missouri Conference. At the 169th Session of the Missouri Annual Conference, Rev. Lowe was appointed Presiding Elder of the newly combined Gateway District, serving the state of Missouri.
He graduated from University City High school where he excelled as team Captain of the football and track teams where he was an All-Conference Scholar athlete in football and track, where he once held the indoor state and school records in the shot put and discus, respectively. He went on to Southeast Missouri State University and was a college All-American in the discus.
He later transferred to St. Louis University and graduated with a dual degree in Business and Communications. Additionally, he holds a master’s in human resources development from Webster University in St. Louis. Additional studies were completed in Theology from Eden Theological Seminary and Concordia Seminary. He has completed extensive training in Diversity, Inclusion and Equity.
He is retired from AT&T, where he worked for 31 years in over nineteen assignments in the states of California, Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and the countries of South Africa and Mexico. Additionally, he has a passion for Public Health, Community Engagement and Health Equity. He currently serves as the Co-Chair for Siteman Cancer Centers, Disparities Elimination Committee at Washington University. He is the Chaplain for the Urban League Guild!
He is a Certified Corporate trainer which took him to South Africa. There he was honored to be the first Black to break the color barrier, training the trainers in 8 locations across the country of South Africa, as the Lead Corporate Trainer.
He has taught and lectured on the subject of “Church Growth and Development,” Health Equity and Healthy Living for Seniors. Additionally, he has served as a Business Consultant to several major Companies in the St. Louis region. Among them are The Alzheimer’s Association, World-wide Technology, Centene Corporation, just to name a few.
His passions are Ecumenicity, Teaching, Training and Public Health and Workforce Development advocacy. His favorite song is “I Am Thine O Lord,” Sacred Hymns, and favorite scripture is Psalms 34: 1- 3:
I will always bless the LORD; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul makes its boast in the LORD; let the humble hear and be glad. Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together!

Rev. Regina L. Lowe
In 1996, Rev. Lowe began in ministry at Mizpah Lutheran Church as a Lay Minister. In 2021, at the 167th session of the Missouri Annual Conference, she was ordained an Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church by Bishop Clement W. Fugh.
Rev. Lowe has a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. And has earned a dual master’s in Christian Formation and Non-Profit Administration from North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago, Illinois. In addition, she is a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation.
She is the Owner and Principal Coach of Guided Coaching and Consulting. Her passions are people and organizational development. Her career has led her to work in the for-profit and non-profit industries. And she is currently the Sr. Director of Career Development at Rung for Women in St. Louis, MO.
